1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from Talash Sewing Centre.
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Pricing & Payment
We accept payment via:
- Credit/Debit Card (via checkout)
- Bank Transfer (by prior arrangement)
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Orders will not be dispatched until full payment has been received.
3. Additional Charges
There are no additional charges beyond the product price and shipping, unless otherwise stated.
If you do not qualify for free shipping, delivery charges will be applied at checkout.
4. Product Information
We aim to ensure all product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate.
However:
- Minor variations may occur
- Colours may differ depending on screen settings

5. Orders & Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
We reserve the right to:
- Cancel or refuse any order
- Request additional verification before dispatch
6. Delivery
Orders are typically dispatched within 48 hours of receiving payment.
Delivery is usually 1–3 working days from dispatch, unless otherwise stated.
For international shipping, customers must contact us for a custom quote.
Due to the size and value of certain machines, delivery may be kerbside unless otherwise arranged.
7. Installation & Usage
Some machines, particularly industrial equipment, may require professional installation and setup.
We recommend contacting us before purchase for advice.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
- Proper installation
- Safe and correct usage
8. Damaged Deliveries
If goods arrive damaged:
- You must accept the delivery
- You must clearly note the damage when signing
⚠️ If goods are signed for as received in “good condition”, we may be unable to process a claim with the courier.
9. Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of our products, strict return conditions apply.
- Items must be unused
- Items must be in original packaging
- Items must be in fully resaleable condition
- All accessories must be included
Timeframes:
- You must notify us within 3 days of receiving your order
- Items must be returned within 2 days of notification
Costs:
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable
10. Faulty or Defective Items
If an item is faulty:
- Must be reported within 2 days of delivery
- Must be returned within 2 days after reporting
All products are tested before dispatch.
If the item is found not to be defective, return shipping charges will apply.
11. Change of Mind (UK Distance Selling)
Under UK Distance Selling Regulations:
- You must notify us within 3 days of delivery
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Items must be returned within 2 days of notification
- Return shipping costs must be covered by the customer
12. Software Returns
Software products are only eligible for return if:
- They remain sealed
- They have not been opened or unboxed
13. Return Rejection
Returns may be refused if:
- Items are used or damaged
- Packaging is incomplete
- Items are not in resaleable condition
If a return is rejected:
- The item will be returned to the customer
- Return shipping costs will be charged
14. Warranty & Repairs
Warranty varies depending on the product.
We are not responsible for damage caused during return transit due to poor packaging.
Customers are responsible for:
- Collection and delivery cost
- Secure packaging of returned items
15. Liability
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Incorrect installation or misuse
Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased goods.
